Online & Phone Purchases Return Policy

This return policy applies to products purchased from Blue Lava, Inc. and/or its affiliates (“Blue Lava”) under its “Blue Lava,” brands (collectively, the “Brands”).  Blue Lava provides refunds for purchases made at Blue Lava company owned retail and outlet stores (“Company Retail Stores”) and on the Brands’ official e-commerce sites as set forth more fully herein. Pursuant to the terms set forth below, Blue Lava will provide refunds to customers who return products via U.S. Mail unworn and unwashed, in their original condition and packaging (if any), with the tags still attached within 30 days from the date of an online purchase at a Brand’s official e-commerce site. E-commerce purchases can be returned via U.S. Mail, UPS, or FedEx.

Returns via Mail

Items purchased online or by phone may be returned or exchanged by mail in their original condition and accompanied by the original packing slip within 30 days.

  • Returns after 30 days - If customer returns product(s) purchased from a Brand’s official e-commerce site after thirty (30) days, no credits or exchanges will be issued.

All product sales are intended for retail/ “end user” customers only, and are not intended for wholesale or redistribution by the purchaser.  The resale of any products purchased from the Brands’ e-commerce sites without the express prior written consent of Blue Lava, in each instance, is strictly prohibited.  For the purpose of enforcement of this policy, no customer may purchase more than a number of products or product styles that Blue Lava determines, in its sole discretion, to be a reasonable number in each circumstance during any 72 hour period without the prior written consent of Blue Lava.  Blue Lava may refuse to sell any products to any person that Blue Lava believes, in its sole discretion, intends or endeavors to violate this policy. 

 Standard Return Shipping

  • Mail returns require 10-12 business days to process.
  • Refunds will be given within 30 days of receipt of the returned merchandise.
  • Customers will be notified via email when the return has been processed and a credit has been issued to the original form of payment.

 How to Submit a Return via Mail

  • Complete the return questionnaire on the packing slip/receipt.
  • Cut off the pre-addressed mailing label portion of the packing slip/receipt.
  • Merchandise is to be securely packed in the original box, if possible, removing all extra labels from the outside of the package.
  • Please enclose the top portion of the original packing slip/receipt. If you are unable to provide the packing slip/receipt, then you must include the order number, billing name and address.
  • Affix the pre-addressed label to the package.
  • All return shipping charges must be prepaid. No C.O.D. deliveries will be accepted.
  • Packages should be shipped through a traceable shipping method. Please retain the return tracking number for your records.

Gift Returns

Gift returns made via mail are credited to the original form of payment used when the order was placed.

Exchanges via Mail

To expedite your exchange, you may call our Customer Service Department at 800-. 

  • Please follow the instructions for “Returning via Mail” above.
  • You will be notified via email when the return has been processed and a credit has been issued to the original form of payment.
  • Please place a new order for the item(s) you wish to receive.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you received an item that is damaged or defective upon arrival, please call our Customer Service Department immediately at 800-. It is important that you contact us before returning the item, so that we may assist you with return shipping fees. If you do not contact us, you are responsible for all return shipping charges.

Before you call, please have your order number available. Please be prepared with a detailed description of the damage or defect before contacting us.

Received the Wrong Item

If we shipped you the wrong item, please call our Customer Service Department
immediately at 800-. It is important that you contact us before returning your item, so that we may assist you with the return shipping fees. If you do not contact us, you are responsible for all return shipping charges.

  • Please be prepared with a detailed description of the differences between the item you ordered and the item you received.

 Warranty

Not all products carry a manufacturer warranty.

Apparel and Accessories Warranty Policy

Policy covers specificApparel & Accessories.

 Blue Lava warrants all apparel to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the original date of purchase, when purchased from an authorized dealer. The apparel warranty covers defect of workmanship and materials, but does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and material through time, exposure or extensive use.  If a Blue Lava product is found to be defective after inspection by a warranty technician, Blue Lava will repair or replace the product with an existing comparable model at the technician’s discretion. Blue Lava is not liable for any damages, losses and/or costs incurred resulting from the loss or usage of our products.

Limited Warranty Policy Limitations

Warranty policy is subject to the following limitations:

  • All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt from an authorized dealer.
  • All warranty claims returned must have prior return authorization.
  • Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty.

 E-mail the warranty department to obtain Warranty Authorization:

  • Emailing: please include pictures of the item, picture of the proof of purchase, warranty description, customer address and phone number.

After contacting the warranty department:

  • Ship your warranty promptly!
  • Include a copy of the original receipt.
  • Blue Lava is not liable for any items lost in transit. Additionally, customers are responsible for all tracking information on return shipments.

Shipping:

Customers are responsible for all costs incurred on shipping warranty item(s) to Blue Lava. Blue Lava will cover shipping cost on replacement or repaired item(s) shipping back to the customer.
